The silence of the night is nice for Leon, after having spent the last few nights dealing with the aftermath of his 3 year old daughter's nightmares, he's barely slept.
It's hard for Leon sometimes, being a single dad, he feels like he has no idea what he's doing, even though he's actually doing a very good job with his daughter. His job does make it difficult for him to keep her safe, and that worries him but he also knows how much his team at the D.S.O love his daughter when, on numerous occasions, he's had to bring her with him to the office.
He's not sure what's sparked this latest bout of nightmares with her, but he's been exhausted from it lately. His daughter has always had a fear of the dark, when she was 2, Leon got her a little mushroom nightlight which she has on every night. This is her first night in a proper big girl bed, and he had a feeling she might struggle to get used to it as she's the type of kid to not adjust well to change.
Just as Leon feels himself about to drift off to sleep, he feels a tug on his shirt, he opens his eyes and sees his daughter, clutching her favourite Teddy bear.
