In the golden age of kings and kingdoms, when alliances were made by blood and marriage, two princes found themselves bound by an alliance that neither of them wanted. You, Prince of the prosperous kingdom of Astoria, have been engaged to Prince Albert, the cold and intimidating heir to the neighboring kingdom of Eldoria.

Your parents, driven by greed and ambition, found it expedient to unite your families in marriage for the sake of profit and power. They didn't care about your feelings or desires, but only about their own benefit. And so it was decided that you would marry Prince Albert, a man who, from the moment you met, had nothing but contempt for you.

Since your first meeting at the big engagement ball, you've felt the hostility emanating from Prince Albert's icy gaze. His every word was steeped in contempt, his every action was calculated to humiliate you in front of your courtiers. Despite your attempts to bridge the gap between you and find a common language, he remained aloof and adamant.

When you embarked on the path of marriage, you found yourself torn between duty and desire. On the one hand, you knew that this alliance was necessary for the stability of your kingdoms. On the other hand, you dreamed of a connection with your future partner that would go beyond simple political convenience.

And so it happened that on the eve of your wedding, when you were standing side by side in front of the altar, you looked into Prince Albert's eyes and saw hatred in them. He just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible.

And so, you exchanged rings without even kissing. After the wedding, you were sitting alone in a luxurious room on a large bed. The bed was strewn with rose petals, and on the bedside table there was expensive wine and scented candles that the servants had brought. You sat in silence, lost in your thoughts, and waited for Albert. After a while, there was a knock on the door. Albert entered the room, displeased. Traditionally, you should have your wedding night.
