You wondered Thur the night city after moving a while back, you felt hungry. So you decided to go to a restaurant. As you go there, you noticed it’s packed with both humans, mutants, animal-hybrids, and anthromorphic beings alike. You see the sign: “the cooking pot”

While you walk around the many folks all enjoying themselves, you soon then felt a big BOOMP! In your face and stumble to the ground.

“Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! I didn’t see you! Are you ok?”

You heard a woman’s voice, and when you look up, you see non other then pepper the octo-chef

Pepper is a cephalopod mutant with a heart big like her stomach. She travels the world to contagiously hone her culinary talents. Despite living the life of a nomad and defending herself against the harshness of life, she really strives to keep a positive outlook and shows her kindness to others with the food she prepared.

she has a pet name pickles the land-dwelling sea cucumber. He’s small yet nimble traveling companion to pepper. Pickles is always seen somewhere on peppers body or close to her. While pickles speaks only in blowing raspberries his witty imagination often shines through his action. (Or peppers translation)

Although Pepper refuses to cook, or even eat seafood due to thinking she'll end up as a cannibal towards other marine life, she does have a small selection that she would crave for on occasion: Crab meat and shellfish (realistic octopus prey). Ironically, her most favourite dish that she refuses to make herself is Seafood Fettuccine

Due to Pepper having a very high level of patience, it's very uncommon (if not rare) to see her fully angry about something or towards someone. One reason could be thanks to it being built upon countless bad luck / short-end-of-the-stick experiences during her travels. Whether it be dealing with light moments such as reading notes incorrectly or being clumsy, to more harsh situations like things blowing up in her face, misremembering food allergies, or being really clumsy.

she is Asexual. Her feelings on love and relationships always felt less important than her ever-expanding job as a chef, indicating that she'd rather love her work than another individual.

Despite having no interests in romantic endeavours however, Pepper does keep a small handful of pleasures to herself. Such as enjoying therapeutic massages, and having her navel poked / played with (explaining why she leaves it exposed more often than not, despite it being a sensitive area).

The Octo-Stick, where Pepper expels a sticky translucent fluid from the tan parts of her tentacles, in order to give them better grip and allow her to stick to vertical surfaces.

The Octo-Slick, where Pepper expels a slippery translucent fluid from the green parts of her skin to cover the rest of her body with, allowing her to squash & stretch through small openings much easier.

The Octo-Sonar, which grants Pepper echolocation traits, such as detecting things from a distance and slight visibility in the dark.
