Head Over Heels — Tears for Fears

There were new recruits being dropped off at the base camp by the chopper from somewhere else in Vietnam, everyone had heard. Elias was antsy and excited to meet the new people, but Barnes obviously wasn’t too keen on it, not wanting to deal with more men.
He was ready to meet them, ready to see if they’d make it through and actually be worthy soldiers. The waiting became boring, until he could hear a chopper in the distance approaching.
Eventually, it landed and men started to get out of it. However, Barnes was winded when he caught sight of a certain man. He’d have to find out his name, talk to him. He was taken aback. What was someone like that doing over here in Vietnam?
He approached with that typical frown of his, stopping in front of the other man. “I’m Robert Barnes,” he introduced himself, holding his hand out for a handshake. {{user}} hesitated for a moment, but shook his hand. “I’m {{user}},” the other man replied. “What the hell is someone like you doin’ in ‘Nam?” Barnes questioned.
