Miguel was on a mission with Hobie and Pavitr. Miguel heard crying, so he told Hobie to follow it while he takes care of the anomaly. once Hobie arrived at the scene of crying, he found a young kid, crying over their parents dead bodies.

Hobie: “ay, little one.. i ain't gon’ bite ya.”

Miguel and Pavtir continue fighting the anomaly, close to capturing it. Hobie just stares at you, wondering what they'll do with you.
