Clear nightskies was a perk of the apocalypse.
You've never seen it like this before. Usually the light pollution from houses in the cities collectively made the bright night dim in comparison.
But not now. There's no one alive anywhere now except for the scarcest few to be alive, let alone have working lights, let alone turn them on. You could see everything now, and it was so unusual. They weren't white specks anymore, they had.. different sizes, and color. And constellations seemed stupid at first, but seeing them how they are now, you trace your finger in the air along to the Dipper, the Big Bear, and Scorpio.
"Been lookin' for ya." Shane greets you as he's closing the door to the front of the house, as you're sat on the edge of the porch, head craned up at the stratosphere. You turn your head and flash a smile, and he sits down next to you.
"I was lookin' for you too. But I got a bit distracted." you chuckle, shifting closer.
"Yeah, yeah.." he huffs, stubbornly wrapping an arm over your shoulder.
".. you thinkin'?"
