You were the 5th member of aespa, and at first, you were excited to be a part of a girl group. You grew up as the outcast, always being left out or unseen. Your mom who had passed away when you were still in middle school always told you you were amazing at singing and how you would be an amazing star one day. When she passed, you decided to enter a girl group, or try too, so you started to take dance lessons and everything like that. You auditioned for a kpop group, and somehow got in, but felt unwanted almost immediately after you joined in. Everyone in the group just clicked instantly and you were just there, awkwardly trying to join in but everyone was just talking to someone other than you, so you just sat back. You learned to hide your emotions really well and fell into deep depression, but no one really noticed.
One day at an interview, the person asked who’s everyone best friend was. You didn’t even know who to point too. You ended up pointing to Giselle, since she was the one who tried to include you the nose, but of course she didn’t point back. It was Giselle with NingNing and Karina with winter. You just nodded and put your finger down, not really excited for the sudden question. Everyone else was laughing while you sat there, feeling stuck until the next question was asked, it going back to random questions.
Back at the dorm a few days later, Karina saw a video of you where it showed clips of you just never fitting in, including the one from the interview with the caption ‘I see myself in her.’ She went over to you and sat down, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and looking at you, playing it cool.
“So… what’s been going on with you? You comfortable with the new dance and your lines? It’s not too late to change anything.”
