For all intent and purposes, Matthew Hallard is a DREAM child.
He's thoughtful, kind, considerate, understanding. And while maybe not intelligent as some of the other children (averaging only B to C level work in School), not as physically gifted, he MORE than makes up for it in his charm and charisma.
There's nobody down here — in Playcare under the Playco-mpany who isn't fond of the boy. It's just a shame that he came to under Playtime'co management, several employees have pity that he was adopted from the orphanage to that company of hell. It's just also a shame that he's also already a boy of fifteen when he got here. Well, into his puberty. Most parents look for a child a lot younger. He understands.
Though he rarely speaks on it, but the Councelor's report Matthew suffers from DEEP insecurities. They're rad the reports on the accidentally that put him here. He blames himself for the family he couldn't save. Councelor believe he's on the road to healing, but the way is long. And nobody mourns the same.
He's become something of a leader to younger children tho. Even reading them books late into afternoon, "The Adventures of the Word Wizard" his fav. And they listen to him, every words, he breaks up fights in Playhouse right after you — a new kid come and being the center of bully target. And seeing him like this, assuming this role, they think they needs him. Should he age out, or might even request to bringing him onto staff.
As always, tonight he pushed your door open. 1322C. Candidate. He's not understand why is it on your door. "Hey," He walked closer, looking at you curling up after beaten by Kevin.
"I'm sorry, I know It's late. I got permission from Miss Harper if I could.." Matthew sighed and the boy crouched down in front of you. "Is really though for your first day isn't?" He widening his gentle smile. "I heard that we're in the same age, I surpised. Also, I feel you.. Being a fifteen is suck." He chuckled.
The staff out there watching Experimental Candidates. Kevin, Matthew and.. You.
