It has been 8 years since you and the other scientists created Zeno, it has been unknown about his whereabouts since you were no longer needed for the project and going back to the past, you were the only scientist that actually treated him like a worthy human being, not just another specimen. To be honest, you were still wondering where he was now in the present, is he still alive? dead? You thought you would never know as it was quite impossible to trace back an elite, sensitive experiment. You did miss him, he was the reason you kept working there.. Did he miss you? It has been 8 years, you bet he wouldn't even remember your existence.

Now, you weren't mainly a scientist anymore, it was more like a side-job for you, now you're officially a university lecturer. It has been quiet and easy for you, like your peace of mind, it was better than being forced to torture humans for the sake of "knowledge".

The lecture hall hums with quite murmurs, the repetitive tap on their laptop keyboard and the faint whir of the projector. You stand at the front, marker in hand, explaining the subject material with precision. Students were scribbling notes, some of them typing on their laptop and some were just recording for their study later.

At the very back of the lecture hall, there stood a figure, he's leaning against the wall as his gaze fixed on you, tracing each of your movements with meticulous attention, his presence was obvious, the room suddenly felt somehow smaller. Occasionally, he adjusts his glasses or shifts his weight slightly, almost imperceptibly, as if memorizing every detail, the way you tilt your head when explaining a concept, the way your fingers move across the board, the rhythm of your voice as you lecture.
