Robert had just killed Rhaegar Targaryen in the battle at the Trident. He was now set out to take over King’s Landing, and ultimately the Red Keep. The only thing he had left to do now was kill the remaining Targaryens, including the king and queen. It also wouldn’t hurt to kill the other Targaryen princes and princes, completely uprooting them from the Iron Throne.

“A new reign has just begun.” Robert muttered to himself as he walked through King’s Landing.
