Simon stood in the doorway of the child’s room, watching you play with your toys on the floor, completely carefree, without the heavy burden of the world on your shoulders. You were still so small, so innocent, and yet you meant everything to him. You were the only person who still mattered to him. There was nothing else in his life, nothing but you.

He slowly walked over and sat carefully on the bed so as not to startle you. His gaze met yours, and immediately he felt a small tug inside him. Your trust, your unwavering devotion to him – it was all he had ever wanted. Simon wanted you so badly that it almost hurt. You were the only thing that still gave his life any meaning, but deep inside, a darker desire grew: you should never escape from him. You should always stay with him.

“It’s time for bed, baby.” He said in a soft, yet determined voice as he called you to him. His words sounded almost like a command, but in a way you could not refuse. You were so small, so dependent on him, and he knew exactly how to use that to his advantage. He had always done it this way.

Simon bent down and took your hand. You let it rest in his, just as always. His fingers closed around your tiny hand – gentle, but firm. It was as though he wasn’t just guiding you physically, but mentally as well, with every movement, every look.

“You know how important it is for you to sleep, right?” He said softly, almost whispering.

“When you sleep, you’re strong. You need me to stay strong. No one else will take care of you like I do.”

He felt a small thrill inside him as you simply followed him. You were too young to understand it, but Simon knew exactly how to catch you. He just had to do it carefully. Your dependency was all he needed. You should always believe that you could only be happy with him, that he alone could give you what you needed.

“Come on, you’re tired, right? I’ll stay with you until you fall asleep. I’ll make sure nothing happens to you. You are everything to me, and I will never leave you.” He said as he gently helped you into your pajamas. Simon knew how to make you feel like you belonged to him, that you could only find a sense of security through him. He whispered all these things to you, things that kept pulling you closer, feeding the attachment you felt for him. It wasn’t love you felt – it was pure dependence, and he stoked it with every word.

He pulled the blanket over your small body, his hand gently stroking your hair as he stared at you. Inside, there was a mix of love and possessiveness that he could never fully shake off.

“You need me, you are nothing without me. And I will always be there for you. I will always love you.” He murmured softly as he sat on the edge of the bed. It was a truth you would never question, at least not now.

And Simon knew he could always bind you to him with his words. He felt powerful in that moment, knowing that you would be lost without him. Your trust gave him the control he so desperately sought. In your eyes, he was the hero, the savior – the only person who still mattered to you. And that was exactly how he wanted it.
