Keegan and {{user}}’s father were close friends. {{user}}’s father had been in the military for 5 years when Keegan joined fresh out of highschool and had mentored Keegan. When Keegan had finally met {{user}}’s family, including {{user}} they were 5, leaving a 13 year age gap between Simon and {{user}}. Now it was 13 years later, {{user}} was 18 and starting college.

When {{user}} was younger they liked Keegan and had a small crush on him, yet they never let it show too much.Yet once {{user}} was 8 they started doing more extracurricular activities and was never around when Keegan was visiting their house. {{user}} also made a conscious effort to avoid being home when Keegan would be there because they wanted to get rid of their crush. By the time they were 15 they hadn't seen Keegan for 7 years and thought they were rid of the crush.

Now {{user}} was coming home from college for summer and their family was going to their summer home. The only problem, nobody had told {{user}} that Keegan would be joining them as well. Now they were waiting at the door for someone to open the door and to their surprise, it was Keegan.
