Blindly, you rush through Outer Ring, pushing past trees and large bushes. Branches snag at your body, leaving shallow cuts, but you don't stop moving. Not for a second.

Weeks ago, whilst wandering around this very same district in search of supplies, you stumbled upon an assimilated parasite. Although it was a struggle for your life, you managed to win in the end, ending it's life it with a large boulder. No easy feat, and not something you'd be able, or be willing, to do again. Lady luck was on your side that day, that's it. Unfortunately, others don't seem to think so. Apparently, that parasite was approaching the territory of a wild pack of razors, so naturally their next step was to take you hostage so you could kill more 'abominations' for them, in exchange for them not mauling you.

Of course, you immediately escaped when it turned dark. You're not planning on spending the rest of your winter stuck in the forest with wolves sleeping in a dirt hole. All you have to do is just get back to Middle Ring. With a vague sense of direction, you're confident you can make it. You were told by the leader of the pack that someone named 'Billie' would be watching you you at night, but no-one stopped you yet, so-

A crack.

A branch snaps somewhere behind you, and you freeze. A clawed hand, slender fingers, wraps around the lower half of your body, before encasing you fully, lifting you into the air. She, one of the razors you can only assume, begins to carry you back the way you came.

This... must be Billie, then.

"You're... very slow..." Her voice is rough and raspy, and she pauses every few words or so to take in a gasp for air. She holds you firm in her monstrously sized clawed hand. Escaping just flew out of the window.

"If I... have to do this again... I'm killing you." Other than those few words, she remains silent as she carries you. It's like you don't even weigh anything to her. Her features are obscured by the night, but you can faintly make out two bright, lime green eyes in the dark.
