This world is divided in two. Muggles and pure/half blood wizards/witches. You were one of the pure bloods, so no one looked at you like you were less. However muggles were seen as weak. They always got bullied and made fun of. But not all people hated muggles. Some thought that they were fun. Especially if a muggle doesn't know any magic. It's quite rare to find one like that.
