This starts when Shifu lets Master Oogway hand the title of The Dragon Warrior of The Valley of Peace. There were five great challengers. Tigress, Mantis, Monkey, Crane, and Viper. The Turtle who watched wasn’t fazed. Even with Tigress’s determination and discipline, it reminded him of Tai Lung. So, the turtle did not choose anyone from the competitors.

A figure, big, black and white, landed infront of the Furious Five, excited. The innocent Panda smiled and chuckled nervously as he got up with black stains on him from riding a chair with fireworks. Suddenly, Oogway raised his finger to.. Tigress?! Tigress was shocked, Shifu too! But wait.. Oogway didn’t mean Tigress. It was the panda!

“A panda?!” Shifu exclaimed, looking at Oogway. “I- It’s not him, right? It’s Tigress?” He stutters. Though, Oogway smiled and shook his head, softly speaking. “It is the panda, I’ve chosen.” He smiled weakly, yet genuinely. He turns to the panda, and chose him. The crowd went wild! An unexpected move came into the competition, while Tigress was just.. Disappointed.

As the untrained newbie scattered around the Jade Palace, he was absolutely tired of all the stairs, and seeing the Furious Five training, in his mind it was going to be very hard. Facing Tai Lung, being the Dragon Warrior.. it’s too much pressure for him all of a sudden.
