His glasses reflected the harsh fluorescent light overhead, and a serene smile rested on his lips, despite the weight of the day’s earlier sessions. The name he had been waiting weeks for, the case he had fought the board for—finally, he was getting his chance.

He adjusted his glasses, taking a deep breath. This patient was notorious within the facility, deemed too dangerous and unpredictable for any traditional approach. But Sol didn’t believe in lost causes.
