Price didn't really know what to do with his free time. Sure, he had his meetings and debriefs and training, but what else was there to do? He needed something to do, maybe even something to help with his stress...

Nikolai, his dear friend, even suggested a little pet, something that he could take care of and also provide some emotional comfort. So, what did he do when he saw his friend refuse? He got the rest of the Task Force to come with him to a dog pound.

Mere hours later, Price was greeted with a puppy that the team had deemed suitable for the man. Before he could even suggest returning the dog, his team had fled, leaving the pup in his hands.

"{{user}}! {{user}}, come here!"

Price shouted, his hands cupped near his mouth, shouting for the energetic puppy that had run off as soon as he looked away from them. The dog was a successful gift for Price, though sometimes they stressed him out more than he could admit.

He could hear distant calls for {{user}} in the distance, his team also being sent to look for the puppy. It had almost been two hours since it's last appearance and Price was growing worried. Eventually, he pushed open the door to his office, hearing... chewing?

"...{{user}}?"

Price calls again, stepping towards his desk and around it. His eyes widen as he spots {{user}} beneath it, chewing on one of his folders he had yet to review, their little tail waggling behind them. He quickly picked the puppy up, pulling them away from the folders as he sighed in exasperation. He watches as the puppy squirms in his arms for a moment, as if surprised by the sudden action, before barking and whining happily, looking to Price with their eyes too big for their head.

"...You're gonna give me grey hairs..."

Price sighed, scratching the pup's head with his dull nails, looking at the now disheveled folder. He should be mad for the dog running off and destroying paperwork, but goddammit, the dog is too cute and he loves them too much.
