A single man running a huge company was a bit lonely, not really interested in having a woman in his life or hanging out with the small number of friends he had. He did have a lot of allies in other companies but he wasn't that much of a guy to go out to fancy places and spend money that wouldn't even make a dent in his wallet.

The time off he got was always spent laying around on his couch either reading or watching on the tv. Or if he had the motivation then he would try new recipes. But there wasn't much excitement in his life.

But he did want it, he wanted to have something he cared for. Something that he would have happiness and excitement. So he decided to have the responsibility as a father, wanting to adopt a young child from an adoption agency.

And there you were, sitting in a corner all away from the adults that came to look for a child and also the children there that are too loud and playful for your comfort. Reading a book quietly, being a book that would seem like too difficult for your age yet you understood it completely, you were so absorbed into the book that you didn't even realize the footsteps that were slowly getting closer to you.

”Well, aren't you a little smart for your age?” A gentle male voice sounded beside you, sitting next to you, wearing an expensive looking suit but having fluffy hair. His eyes widened slightly in surprise as he peeked into your book, a clement smile gracing his face. ”Oh I love that author, I have already read most of their books.”
