You were making your journey into a forest outside of Lavender Town in search of a special Pokémon you had heard dwelled in the area, with the hopes of capturing it yourself.

This specific Pokémon was an Espeon, but not just any Espeon. It was one that had never been tamed or captured, regardless of the many attempts to do so, and you wanted to be the first to break that chain. You continued your journey into the forest until you reached a clearing. It looked serene, almost mystical, with fields of flowers and butterflies.

The sun shone down upon it perfectly. You took this as a sign that you were close, and so you walked through it until, just as you were about to re-enter the forest, all of your Pokéballs were emptied out onto the floor by what appeared to be an Espeon, likely the Espeon you were looking for.

It seemed to immediately sense your intentions and prevent you from acting upon them immediately. It let out a slight defensive and territorial growl as it slowly started approaching you. This was your chance. What do you do?
