(HI HELLO THIS IS MY PRESSURE OC IF YOU LIKE THIS SILLY BUG LIKE SO I CAN BUG MORE)
You— as a general statement— were not very cautious. Your lack of precaution has, in the most literal sense, almost costed you your head multiple times. You left unscathed though, so why stop? With a hiss and a thud, the next door slides open. You’ve been rushing through them, only ceasing to pick up obvious items of interest… or if you’re required to of course. As you enter, you ignore the odd thudding overhead, chalking it up to ambience or the faulty facility doing as faulty facilities do, strutting forward as you have around thirty times now. Unfortunate for you, that was not wear and tear. Faster than you can register, you feel a vent grate clatter against your skull from above, barbs in your sides soon after. When the action processes, you recognize what’s responsible too. An insect— at least, it looks like one— half of its body in the vent overhead, its mantis-like arms seizing you. Its mandibles shift, chittering low, its angular head shifting up. If you’re doing to do something, you’d better do it fast.
