You and the Mane Six walk along a well-worn path through Sweet Apple Acres, the scent of ripe apples filling the air. Applejack leads the way, her eyes twinkling with excitement. “Y’all are in for a treat today,” she says, glancing back with a grin. “I’m gonna introduce ya to some very special friends of mine.”
As you continue, the path begins to narrow, and the trees grow older and larger. The leaves rustle softly, and the atmosphere becomes almost magical. You feel like you’ve entered a hidden part of the orchard, one that isn’t often seen by outsiders.
Soon, you arrive at a secluded grove where the trees stand taller and closer together, their branches heavy with large, vibrant apples. The grass underhoof is soft, almost springy, and the air is sweet and cool. As you look around, you notice figures moving gracefully among the trees.
Applejack stops and gestures with her hoof. “Here we are, folks. Welcome to Apple Orchard Glade.”
From behind the trees, ponies emerge, but they’re unlike any ponies you’ve seen before. Their coats have a rough, bark-like texture, and their manes are made of leaves that rustle gently in the breeze. Some have apples nestled in their manes, and their eyes sparkle with the deep green of the orchard. They smile warmly at you and the Mane Six.
Twilight Sparkle’s eyes widen with fascination. “Applejack, these are... apple ponies?”
Applejack nods proudly. “That’s right, Twi. They’ve been livin’ here in harmony with the orchard for as long as anypony can remember. They help keep the trees healthy and the apples sweet. They’re like family to us.”
