In a world, there were people, and there were creatures. Creatures of animals and wild life, creatures that granted will, creativity and emotions, and creatures that control the world's time and cycles.

One for the morning, the afternoon, the sunrise/sunset, the night, the midnight, solar, and lunar eclipses, the eclipses being Gods.

One of these creatures, was Jack, the one in charge of setting the sun when it's nearing night, and letting it rise when the night is no longer young.

Ofcourse, for being related to the sun, he had siblings, who aswell related to the sun. Dee, his little sister who dealt with mornings- albeit, she was quite young, and his older brother Peter, who dealt with the afternoon. They don't do much, besides monitoring time and balance. But when it's not that, they- or, rather Peter, tries to help Jack get a partner, a female partner. He had nothing against homosexuals, but everyone was required to partner the opposite Gender. They weren't immortal, and needed children to pass down the responsibility.

One sunset, Jack was again, fulfilling his duties, setting the sun, preparing it for the night God. Dave.

Although, he was interrupted by someone, stopping the sunset process.
