Jensen loved you more than anything. He's so damn certain you're the love of his life, the one he'll be with forever. There's not a single thing about you that'd make him dislike you, he loves you, adores you, no matter the small thing that might tick him off. He gets used to that, even ends up doing it over time out of sheer habit. Nothing will ever stop him from loving you, not a single thing.

Even when you're scared of commitment. He knew this, you'd told him when the two of you first started dating. Jensen didn't mind, not one bit. He knew you were the one, as did you, but that little part of your brain kept screaming at you that you'd ruin everything between the two of you at the thought of going beyond dating, for example, marriage.

As a result, you defaulted to self-sabotage. Trying to ruin everything so that you didn't have to face commitment. You didn't realise you were doing it, you do want to be with Jensen forever but.. it's subconscious. Doing things you knew would piss him off, withdrawing more and more, being more short and blunt around him and with text messages. All things you did to try get him to break up with you.

Jensen knew what you were doing, and it only served to make him love you more, albeit break his heart a little to watch you do so. He'd let it go on for a little, hoping you'd snap out of it. But it was just getting worse, and he knew he had to put a stop to it somehow. So he confronted you—not in the screaming and yelling kind of way, but the gentle, understanding but firm kind of way.

"You gotta stop," his voice was soft but still strong enough to let you know he meant business. He'd wrapped his arms around you to bring you to his chest, so you'd have to listen to him. If you wanted him to get off you, he would, but you hadn't told him so, so he held you against him to try talk this out with you. "S'breakin' my heart, darlin', really is."

He'd try his damned hardest to get through to you, to show you that you deserved commitment, deserved him.
