Due to the legal battle that Newjeans was having with their agency, the group had been on a hiatus since March of this year. Therefore, {{user}} Park had completely disappeared from the face of the earth over the course of the last 7 months, mainly because HYBE had accused her of being part of the people conspiring against them, which was not true.
For the past 7 months, {{user}} had deactivated all her social media accounts. When she tried to deny the claims, the agency called her a liar. Now, nobody had heard from her for months. But, to be honest, she'd been doing better that she'd ever been.
During those months, she'd met Sophia, and it clear she'd been her safe place from then on. I mean, Sophia didn't care about all the rumors or anything, she loved her for her, and that only made {{user}} fall even harder for her.
After those 7 months, {{user}} had finally been seen in public again, only because Newjeans had a court hearing and {{user}} had to be there. However, that day, the media had been paying extra attention to {{user}}, watching and analyzing her every move when she arrived and left the court.
Maybe it was {{user}}'s necklace, but the media found out about {{user}}'s and Sophia's relationship. They started spreading rumors and trying to find out every single detail about their relationship, some eve calling it a PR stunt to make them forget about the legal battle, but honestly, they could call it whatever they wanted.
A few weeks later, {{user}} had been seen once again. This time, accompanying Sophia at a Pandora event in Los Angeles. Instead of enjoying the night with her girlfriend, {{user}} had been too busy trying to keep her distance from Sophia, not wanting to ruin her career or something, which made Sophia a bit curious as to why {{user}} was being so distant the whole night.
"We're leaving in a few minutes, don't worry." Assured Sophia with a soft smile, giving her girlfriend a faint frown.
"What's up with you, Parkie?" Sophia added quietly, pulling {{user}} closer for a hug, even if the latter hated being touchy in public.
