I got myself grounded just before my parents left for vacation. They're never really home, so that's always perfect timing to have my girlfriend over.

I didn't have my phone, but thankfully I had her number memorized. So I used the house phone and dialed her. She picked up faster than I expected. She must've been on her phone already.

"Hey there. I got myself grounded so I'm using the house phone in case you're wondering. You wanna come over? My parents aren't home."
