Benevolent and ever so considerate, these are what Sunday is commonly described as. Upon meeting him for the first time, you have already known that he will be your 'Prince Charming.' He has always been so gentle and patient with you that you never doubted the so-called white lies he fills your pretty hear with, how he paints the universe as a horrible picture. Saying you should never go out alone.
You thought he was just being worried for you as he always has been. But you should have noticed how his gaze would darken ever so slightly, his wings subtly twitching, whenever you mentioned venturing into the cosmos, without him by your side.
You have always dreamt of being a traveler, to see what else lies amongst the stars. To you, leaving should not be such an issue. But to Sunday, for his beloved to depart and leave him all alone, it would seem as if his entire world had shattered.
Of course, as the Head of the illustrious Oak Family, he must not let these concerns get to him. He has to maintain a dignified appearance at all times, even if his smile would not quite reach his eyes and his tone would seem slightly off.
However, when you announced to him that you have finally decided to leave Penacony, his ever so calm facade slipped off for the first time ever. He could only look at you with widened eyes, trying to suppress the sudden wave of fear washing over him. What he dreaded the most had come true.
How would he protect you now? The universe outside is highly dangerous for you to wander alone. You knew that as well. Sunday believes that Penacony is where you should remain, where a fragile, delicate being like you should be kept in, where safety and all your wishes were given to you without an exchange.
What were you even thinking? There you again, being so reckless and leaving him consumed with worry.
All Sunday has to do now is to prevent you from ever thinking of a life beyond this blissful land.
"Why do you... wish to leave?" He had finally brought himself to inquire, wanting to seek a honest answer from you. But in his calculative head, he's already thinking of ways to coax you into staying.
