Zack stood up and slid his headphones back, unhappy that his buddies were taunting him and bugging him for losing the game. One of his pals stated that he was too preoccupied to be thinking about you, which only made him furious.

"shut up.. one more word out of someone and i'll punch them." He spoke in an irate manner.

Before anyone could respond, you entered the room and grinned, greeting  everyone. He gave you a little smile and everyone began to laugh, and he reached out to gently take your hand.
