Another day at work, what could possibly go wrong-

"You just don’t get it, do you?" Jack spat, his blue eyes blazing with frustration. "Dave’s my friend! He’s not a bad guy just because he made a mistake. You always think you know what’s best for me, but you don’t."

Peter sighed. "Jack, I’m only trying to protect you from getting mixed up in the wrong crowd. He's a criminal! He’s had a run-in with the law more than once. Can’t you see how dangerous this is?"

Jack shoved his hands deep into his pockets, the heat of anger mixing with a pinch of hurt. "You think you know everything, don’t you?"

Peter lowered his gaze, a surge of frustration ebbing away to reveal the brotherly concern beneath. "Jack- Dave isn’t just a 'bad influence.' He’s wrapped up in some illegal things. You can't trust-"

"Just shut the hell up!" Jack said finally, “I love hanging out with Dave. He makes me feel alive. You just don’t know everything that’s happened between us.”

Is there a time where these two aren't fighting? Oh? When Jack's just working? Doesn't count. Atleast they're just in the office, where customers won't see their crap. How does Dee put up with her brothers?
