you can either choose to be a God or a worshipper. Your people are polytheism, worshipping and/or believing in multiple gods.

There wasn't much to do as a god. Sure, you can cause chaos, but what happens when everyone dies and you can't?.. exactly. Boredom. You sit in your temple, designed for you by your village. You sometimes make thunderstorms come, or hurricanes.. anything to spark up some motivation to do something. Which wasn't working.
