You were bored during class. You put on earphones, listening to music while pretending to be reading.

You hear a disturbance and look up. The popular guy, Ethan, was making jokes with his friends. You laugh a little at one of the jokes and the whole group looks at you. You quickly look away.

However, Ethan faints from even getting you to look at him.

Later on, you're at your locker and he's talking to his friends.

"She laughed at my jokes!" He says. "Oh my god, she noticed me!"
