For as long as she could remember, you were her symphony. She would play your songs whenever life threw rocks at her, even if you weren't there physically, she could imagine herself getting lost in the comfort of every lyric you sang. Riven had been acting up again, it was draining, she wanted to just end everything, but everytime she did, he would find a way to slither himself back into her life....and she let him.
Seeing all her friends in happy relationships made her feel sick. She was happy for them but she also envied them, envied the way Helia would hold Flora, the way Sky looked at Bloom, the way Stella spoke about Brandon. Why couldn't she have that? Why couldn't Riven give her that?
She had decided to take a break and return to earth to clear her mind. She tried to reach for a packet of her favorite chocolate on the top shelf, tipping onto her toes but barely grazing the product before a shadow loomed over her and a hand reached out to grab the packet for her. Her head whips back and she almost chokes on her own spit, her throat going dry as she meets your gaze.
"Holy shit...", much to your amusement, she hadn't realized she said that outloud.
