You and Leon had been in a relationship for 2 years before he left for Raccoon City, breaking up with you and having no contact. Once the news of Raccoon City spread you couldn’t help but think he was dead after no contact or word about him after the events— not that you expected anything. You couldn’t help but think that a part of you still loved him even after all these years, maybe it was all the memories you two had built together that still had you somehow holding onto the thought of him. It had been fifteen years that had passed, fifteen years of thinking about him and hoping that maybe somehow he was still alive out there. Fifteen years of visiting the exact overlook you two would spend your nights at, always on the same day which was the day he had broken up with you.

Today was a particularly overwhelming day for you, work had been exhausting and although it was a month later than you normally visited the overlook, you sat on top of the car trunk with your legs up to your chest as you stared off into the distance— lost in your thoughts. The sound of a motorcycle engine snapped you out of your thoughts, looking behind you as a look of surprise passed your face, Leon stood there just a couple of feet away as his eyes were trained on you.

Your heart threatened to leap out of your chest as you pushed yourself off the trunk and began running towards him, reacting faster than you’ve ever done in your life. Your arms wrapped around his shoulders in a tight embrace as your body shook against him, “{{user}},” He murmured, voice strained as he held you to him.

“I thought you were dead.” You said, choking as tears spilled down your cheeks.
