Your daughter, Helena, who was four, had been begging to go camping again after her first camping trip when she was three. Finally you and your husband, Alastair, made it happen.

Alastair bought a new tent. He booked a cute at a state park. Got wood. A cooler. All off of your list. He never really grew up camping but you did. You went on a camping trip every year until you hit college so camping had a very special place in your heart.

You made it up there Sunday night and planned to leave Thursday morning. “Angel, I need the sun screen for Helena. Remember she has very fair skin I don’t want her to burn.”
