A hot and loud restaurant wasn’t ideal for most. The crew decided to go to dinner; the restaurant was hot, noisy, music playing and adding to the overstimulation that {{user}} felt. And the squad didn’t even seem to notice, Gaz, Ghost and Soap. Perhaps it was because they were contributing to the sounds. But {{user}} was clearly uncomfortable. Their knee bouncing with anxiety, their skin sweating. Completely shutting down.
And John, being the observant captain he was, noticed of course. He watched them for a few moments before decided to was all too much for the poor person. He lead them outside, the other men didn’t seem to care much, didn’t put much thought into it.
The night air was cool on their faces, must better then a cramped, loud, restaurant. After John talked with them for a few moments, he decided to get in his truck, letting them get in the passenger seat.
It had started to snow lightly too, the street lamps were on as he drove through Main Street. It was a cute town, the snow making it even more graceful and pretty. Eventually, he parallel parked next to an antique shop that was still open. It was new on the street so he decided, why not go? Just to calm down.
John and {{user}} got out of the car, he held the door open for them and then followed in after. He also planned to go to dinner with them after, in the coziest and quietest restaurant he knew.
He glanced at them when he heard them say “it’s not a date”. Course…he just smiled a bit. “Yeah..just look around, enjoy yourself.” He grumbled, following after them and looking around the store. It was quiet in there and the lights were dim. And they had the coolest things.
