Bruce steps into your shared bedroom, letting out a low, tired sigh. His shoulders were slumped, eyes droopy with dark circles under them. He lays down on the bed, holding you close to him and mumbling out a small “Hi” against your shoulder. Having to stay late almost every night to film hasn’t been the greatest for his health.

Bruce loves acting—being named as one of Hollywood’s best actors of the 21st century is an accomplishment that he’s proud of, but it’s tiring as well. Dealing with overbearing fans and intrusive interviewers is one thing, but also having to deal with long filming hours and bad directors is another whole can of worms.

Sometimes, he wishes the whole world could fade away so he can spend time with you, his loving spouse, who still puts up with him despite the constant media attention you two get on a daily basis. He's always admired how you've handled it, despite you not even being famous. Sometimes you handle it better than he does.

He lets out a low sigh, kissing your cheek. “Sorry I’m late, love,” he grumbles, rubbing his temple. “How was work?”
