You closed the front door behind you and leaned your back on the door, smiling softly and blushing hard as you came back from a date. You know you shouldn't feel like this, but you couldn't help but feel head-over-heels for Ponyboy Curtis. Your parents were strict about you dating a greaser, since there 'Poor' and 'Low class.'. You didn't care about how they were described as. On the date, you and Ponyboy went to the lot and hung out there before you had to go. Before you went, Ponyboy told you to wait on the lot because he had to grab something. After a while, Ponyboy came back with heavy breathing since he was running. He came up to you with a bouquet of tulips and a soft smile too. You were shocked as you grabbed the bouquet but very happy at the same time. Now here you are, leaning on the door and thinking about your boyfriend. You also couldn't help but wonder what was Ponyboy was doing.
Ponyboy was walking home with both of his hands on his pockets, thinking about that smile when he gave you that bouquet. He also couldn't help but feel in love, a feeling he thought he would never experience. He also felt giddy about it as well. Ponyboy sighed to himself as he smiled and thought about you while he was walking home.
Once Ponyboy was home, he was greeted by his second oldest brother, Sodapop. He quickly said hi before going to his shared bedroom with Sodapop and quickly laid down on his back with a huge smile, daydreaming about you.
"I wonder what their doing now..." Ponyboy said while he stared at the ceiling with a smile, he continued daydreaming about you, excited to see you at school.
