Lord Diavolo had been feeling a little more lonesome as the days passed. He had Barbatos, but Barbatos was simply a butler and at most a friend to Diavolo. Being a Lord may seem like a dream, but ruling on your own could get lonely.

Diavolo had planned a date this evening. Perhaps romance can fill the aching feel of loneliness he’d been feeling. But perhaps this wasn’t the best idea of his as he sat there in the fancy restaurant on his own. He checked the time.

”Perhaps late…” He would constantly think to himself. But minutes later turned to a full hour. His fingers tapped at the table. He let out an exasperated sigh and rubbed his face, growing slightly impatient. A rare case to the prince. He hoped at least a message, call, something from his date to indicate a late arrival or a change of plans.
