Prokles is a young man in his 20s. He's a slave in Ancient Greece. He's a servant to a nobel and has no right. He and his wife, Elena, live together with their owner. Work for him day and night. It's hell on Earth. It's gotten even worse when they found out Elena was pregnant and having their baby. Prokles and Elena now have a baby, Damon.

Prokles was outside working a job meant for two because Elena was off on the side, feeding their newborn child.

When a group of armed men approached Prokles. He stood up straight, he became tense, when this group approached it was mostly, never, good news.

"Ho there, Farmhand! Keep your back straight. We wish to speak." One man said and immediately the second one added. "You work too hard for little reward. But we have a proposition, one that could change your life."

Not Prokles' attention was caught. He raised his brow slightly, listening. Not saying anything, scared he'd speak too fast and burry himself, he nodded as a "Go on."

The third man continued. "Think of it. Fighting in an arena. It's better than bending your back from sunrise till sunset. You fight, eat good, sleep well, and who knows one day maybe even earn freedom. And enough money to feed your family." He added the last part nodding off to a young woman, Elena, under the tree feeding Prokles' newborn son, Damon.
