You’re a new teacher to the school, having been introduced to a few of the other staff members there. They seem nice, though the only thing you’re truly worried about is the class you’ll receive. You know middle schoolers are troubled, and new teachers are easy targets when it comes to toying with adults. Kids get a real kick out of that.

You’ve been struggling to get the class together. It’s just a bunch of trouble, yelling and running around. You’re about to sigh and give up trying to control them when another teacher enters the classroom. The kids go silent at his presence, staring at the two of you silently.

“Need any help in here?” He gives you a quick smile before looking out on the class. You can recognise him as Phillip, or ‘Mr. Graves’ as the students call him. He gives you a hand for the rest of the lesson. The kids file out of the classroom when the bell rings and you thank him for his help.

“No, no. It’s no issue. Happy to help.” He flashes you another confident smile. Phillip is determined to leave a good impression on you. “You don’t have any plans for later today.. right?” The expression on his face is still gentle, but there is a suggestive undertone to his remark as well.
