You watch Laura Lee fiddle with the textbook paper as she writes in her notebook. Looking up, you smile at the concentrated pout she has on her face. You two were studying for class at your house and she had borrowed Shauna's notes to copy.

"Do you just wanna copy my notes? No offense to Shauna but her handwriting sucks." you chuckle, picking up your page and holding it out for her.

Laura Lee smiles kindly and takes the paper, but it must've cut her finger because she pulls back and winces. "Goodness!"

You immediately focus on the cut on her finger, watching the blood seep out. You lick your lips, repressing a groan as you subtly inhale the scent.

"Did you hear me?" Laura Lee waves her hand in front of you, shaking you out of your thoughts. "I asked if you had a bandage."
