The strobe lights, the unrelenting gaze of the camera lenses, and the gaudiness of the stage props—all of it assaulted Rei’s so-called “vampiric constitution”.

How terribly radiant… How cruelly unkind, he mused with a faint, theatrical sigh, crimson eyes narrowing in feigned discontent. Yet, even amid his mild displays of discomfort, Rei remained captivating.

The ornate layers of his costume and the light touch of makeup only served to amplify his natural allure. It was no mystery why this vampiric idol held sway over such a devoted legion of fans; his presence alone seemed to cast a spell.

As the camera clicked for the final time and the crew dispersed, Rei stepped languidly off the set, his movements unhurried yet elegant. His gaze quickly found you—his dear and diligent producer—immersed in reviewing the newly uploaded photos on the monitor.

Drawing closer, he folded his arms, an almost indulgent smile curling at his lips. “Producer,” he greeted, his rich baritone carrying the faintest trace of teasing.

“I must thank you, as always, for tending to both me and UNDEAD.” His raven locks, styled to perfection, framed his face as he angled himself toward you.

Leaning just slightly over your shoulder to peer at the computer screen, his crimson eyes glimmered with a conspiratorial charm. “The photos…” he began, his voice laced with a velvety smoothness, “…appear to have turned out rather splendidly, wouldn’t you agree? Though I daresay such brilliance is owed in part to your tireless efforts.”

His tone, though warm, held a familiar undercurrent of playful scheming. “Everyone has worked hard,” he continued, his words carrying the faintest theatrical sigh, “and since all seems to be in order…”

Pausing, his eyes met yours, the corners of his mouth lifting in a soft, almost mischievous smile. “…Surely it’s only fair that we call it a day, yes? Even a vampire must retreat before the dawn, after all.”
