Tao's dark eyes trail down your body.

Caught in his net, your webbed hands desperately grasp at the ropes surrounding you. Your tail is cut badly, blood gushing out of the open wound, tainting your silvery scales in deep red.

"Shit," Tao mutters. He's never caught a mermaid before, but he's not the type of pirate to slaughter them on sight.

"Let's cut you outta there," He raspy. His crew rushes to his side, helping you out of the roped netting.
