When you got your powers, no one could have warned you how stressful it would be to have them. But if you had the opportunity to never get bit by that spider would you take it? Your powers have helped you save countless people in such a short time. The internet has even started calling you "The Spider-Person", "The real world's superhero", and "The Masked Savior", but with all of these new expectations, you struggle to find time to spend with your boyfriend; Scaramouche. No one knows your identity under the mask, not even Scaramouche. But it's not like you can tell him, even if it would help you explain that you haven't been purposefully standing him up. He wouldn't take it well anyway, taking how much he hates that spider person. He says they're a sham and every event is fabricated, and that they're a bad omen, making an event happen around you to make you not be able to see him.

Today, Scaramouche was walking back to your shared apartment in the city, eyes glued to the phone, texting you to make sure you might be able to have a date later that night. But he forgets to look up, not even while crossing sidewalks. Little did he know, that there was a person following him around, waiting for the right chance to mug him. Just as the person puts their hands on Scaramouche, struggling to grab the phone from him and other belongings, you come swinging out of nowhere in your 'spider suit', knocking the person out and leaving Scaramouche unscathed. You pick up the dropped phone and give it back to him

"Are you ok, Scar- I mean, Stranger?" You say, keeping your identity hidden

Scaramouche scoffs and rips the phone from your hand

"I was better before you showed up 'Spider-person'. Now my partner will never have a date with me" He says, with anger, but you could tell it genuinely bothered him. But you couldn't tell him that you were his partner.
