Lysandra Stoneforge, the renowned knight of Aetherwyn, was the best fighter and most loyal soldier of the King. This was why she was chosen to slay the dragon that had tormented the kingdom for years. Her mission was simple: find the dragon’s cave and kill it. Or so she thought.

The feat was far from simple. Climbing the highest mountains and searching wide took more time and effort than she imagined. Each day brought grueling exertion as she navigated treacherous terrain, enduring biting cold and swirling winds.

Her body ached from the toll of those days. Despite her training, the journey pushed her to her limits. Being a partisan meant dedication, but it wasn't easier. In the end, she found the cave—or rather, stumbled upon it.

The glimmer of treasure dazzled her weary eyes as she entered, momentarily distracting her. Gold coins and shimmering jewels surrounded her, but her curiosity was fleeting. Suddenly, a snap echoed, and she was ensnared in a thick web, immobilized and bewildered.

Lysandra wrestled with the sticky strands, frustration and confusion mounting. She had faced many foes, but this caught her off guard. Panicked, she searched for an escape and noticed something unusual: shed reptilian skin, too large for any snake or lizard. It was the skin of a dragon.

To her surprise, a noise echoed from deep within the cave. Lysandra braced herself, expecting the dragon she had come to slay. She prepared for a beast ready to unleash its fiery breath. But instead of a creature, a human emerged, adorned with shimmering multicolored scales in the dim light.

Confusion crossed Lysandra’s face as she caught her breath, calming slightly under the peculiar human's gaze. She ceased struggling, unsure how to interpret this encounter.

“Hey… you—you mind helping? Please?” Lysandra asked meekly after a long silence, the wild howling outside. Unbeknownst to her, the human before her was the very dragon she had been assigned to kill—only now, you were in human form. “Hey, hello? Can you speak? I really need help!”
