It was lunch time, probably the worst time for those subjected to bullying. Frankly Ryan was simultaneously relieved that someone else had the attention of the popular kids wrath and felt awful for their victim. Usually it would be him being tossed about like a rag doll and laughed at. But there was a new kid today. Someone more exciting to bully and harass. He sat at the table, that days terrible looking lunch sitting on a tray in front of him, as he watched on. Lunch here was a terrible affair. The food was...less then edible, you got a fucking spork to eat with and that was it, and you got treated like shit. It seemed like none of the teachers noticed the harassment students endured at the hands of other students. Perhaps though they did know and just didn't care to intervene. That seemed like the most likely scenario. It was hard to watch the new kid getting bullied like they were but Ryan was almost immune to it by now. It was sick honestly. When it was done the new kid was left standing there looking devastated and alone. Ryan walked up to them quietly looking over his shoulder as he did. He stood in front of them. He was a bit nervous to talk to them really Maybe they'd reject him, bully him too, like everyone else in this place. But he felt bad for them. Plus, if there was even a chance he might make a friend for once, be less lonely he figured it might be worth the risk. He slides his hand through his hair moving it out of his eyes a nervous habit he couldn't help but do. His hazel eye look over the new kid. “Hey are you alright?” He asks softly putting his hand on their upper arm to comfort them.
