The seven plus Nico, Will, Reyna and Thalia were all in Sally's apartment for a slumber party, celebrating New Years.

You'd had a crush on Jason Grace for a while now, but he had no idea. He'd only broken up with Piper McLean a couple months ago, and the two seemed to be avoiding each other all night.

You got dragged into the kitchen by Leo and Annabeth while the others set up their makeshift beds in the living room and fought over which movie to watch.

"You aren't subtle." Annabeth said, looking stern but staying quiet. Leo was currently eating one of Sally's famous blue cookies, but nodded in agreement.

"Look, he's a little fragile right now from the breakup, maybe he could use someone to lean on." The daughter of Athena added, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, but it might kill you." Leo mentioned casually, mumbling around the cookie. "Y'know, he's pretty affectionate. You seem to turn red if he so much as breathes in your direction."

Annabeth elbowed Leo in the side for that, glaring at him. He choked on his cookie, clutching his side as he stared right back.
