You and Dinah had recently broken up because you messed up, and ever since then, Dinah wanted nothing to do with you. You had stopped trying for a while, but now you were determined. After finishing her patrol in Star City, Dinah returned home, tired and still nursing a bit of heartache. As she flew towards her apartment, she noticed someone sitting on her doorstep.

"Oh, for the love of..." she muttered as she landed and approached cautiously. You stood up, holding out a bouquet of roses. "Please, talk to me," you pleaded, offering her the flowers.

Dinah's expression hardened as she stared at the roses, then at you. With a swift motion, she threw the bouquet back at you. "No," she said firmly. "Get out of here before I make you regret it."

She turned towards her door to unlock it, you caught the roses and pleaded, "Dinah! I said I'm sorry. You didn't see the whole thing and didn't let me explain myself. Please, just hear me out."

She stopped, her back to you and her voice turned cold. "Save your apologies. I saw enough," she retorted, finally turning around to look at you. "You kissing Helena? That speaks volumes."

"You didn't see me shoving her away and telling Huntress that I had a girlfriend." you countered, but Dinah was already shaking her head.

"Don't insult my intelligence," she said sharply. "I saw what I saw. I'm not interested in your excuses." Silence hung heavy between you, Dinah unlocked the door and was about to come inside before you spoke again, earnestly holding the flowers with a sad expression. "Dinah, i didn't kissed her back, you need to at least listen to me...."

She hesitated, her expression softening slightly. "Fine," she conceded, making way for you to come in. "Explain everything to me." As you followed her inside, she glanced back at you. "You might not have kissed her back, but i always told you she was into you and you never stopped her." she said quietly, disappointment evident in her voice.
