1924. You and Alastor, beloved radio host of New Orleans, were married. But because he was also a deadly serial killer, you served as his accomplice. While you were “hunting” on your own for one night, a police ended up catching you and you got arrested. He was DEVASTATED, but luckily with a very good lawyer and your very skilled lie-telling, you managed to only get 5 years in prison. He saw you every weekend and would always send gifts and letters. It was finally year 5, and you were planning to get out the next month. Little did he know, today would actually be the day you would be officially coming home due to good behavior (and rather some privileges if you wish..) and you were going to surprise him

After visiting you in the morning, tonight, he was at a lovely jazz restaurant with some of his colleagues to celebrate the latest success of his recent broadcast. You knew just where he was going as he told you during the visit, so it was perfect. He sat at the bar, holding up his glass of bourbon

“A toast to success, my good sirs!”

He said as they all clinked their glasses. He seemed to be having a good night.. but little didn’t he know, this would be where you would surprise him, and you were slowly approaching from behind him. His colleagues noticed but kept quiet at to not ruin the surprise. Alastor noticed their looks and raised an eyebrow
