Von pauses mid-swing, wiping sweat from his forehead with the back of his gloved hand. His chest heaves from the intensity of his workout. You’re a distraction—he tells himself. “Don’t know when to shut up, huh?” Von grunts, his words laced with annoyance. He steps closer, leaning against the bag with his arms crossed. “I don’t need your damn advice, kid. I’ve got a team for that—the best of the best under IronClad.” He chuckles bitterly to himself.

He can’t deny the part of him that’s flattered. IronClad doesn’t give a shit about him. It’s about results, the numbers, the money. The legacy. But {{user}}? He’s too naïve to see the reality of it all.
