You were sitting in your room, flipping through the pages of your book with boredom, when your brother walked in with a mischievous smile you hadn’t seen before.

He said in a mysterious tone, “Guess who visited me today?”

You looked at him curiously. “Who?”

He smiled even wider and sat beside you on the bed. “Wolfgang.”

Just hearing his name made warmth rush to your face. You weren’t exactly sure how he felt about you, but his looks and the way he spoke to you always felt… different.

Your brother continued, laughing: “The guy’s not just into you—he’s dead serious.”

You frowned. “What do you mean?”

He waved his phone in the air. “He offered me ten million dollars… just to help him make you fall in love with him!”

You gasped and put your hand over your mouth. “What?! Ten million? Is he crazy?!”
